Paul McCartney has become the UK’s first billionaire musician, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. He appears jointly with his wife Nancy, whose estimated worth is £50 million according to the newspaper. Sir Paul, 81, is said to have earned £50 million in the past year from touring plus songwriting and recording royalties including The Beatles’ final song ‘Now And Then’ and covers such as Beyoncé’s version of the 1968 song ‘Blackbird’. The McCartneys’ estimated combined wealth is up from £950 million in 2023. Other musicians on the list include Andrew Lloyd Webber at £515 million, and Mick Jagger
